WELCOME TO JEN MELCHER NUTRITION

I specialize in providing individual counseling for adolescents and adults who struggle with eating disorders, disordered eating, and other general mental health disorders. I am a believer that all foods can be appropriate in any lifestyle and do not label foods as good or bad.

My counseling approach is tailored to each individual as no two eating disorders are exactly the same. I like to help people find peace with food and challenge the disordered thoughts around food.  My goal is to help you find food freedom, leave diet culture behind, and develop a healthy relationship with your body.

REIMBURSEMENT OPTIONS

Superbills

At this time, I do not work with specific insurance providers. What I do offer is called a Superbill. A Superbill is an itemized list of services that I provide for clients at the end of each month. The document is used by insurance companies to process claims for reimbursement. The Superbill will include information such as the date of service, the fee for that service, diagnostic codes, and the provider’s (myself) information.  All services must be paid for before providing the Superbill.
The Superbill is not a guarantee of payment as the insurance company will review the claim and determine if it meets their criteria for reimbursement. Providing a Superbill can help streamline the process and increase chances of getting reimbursed.
